What is an API or webhook integration?
An API lets two systems exchange data on demand; a webhook automatically sends a notification when an event occurs — an order, a vendor onboarding, a payment. Together they let your marketplace talk in real time to payments, couriers, ERP, invoicing and CRM, without anyone copying data by hand.
How does the split payout to vendors work through an integration?
We use Stripe Connect: on each order the integration splits the payment automatically — your commission stays with the platform, the balance is transferred to the vendor’s connected account. The payment confirmation then triggers fulfilment: shipping label, invoice, notification. There is no month-end settlement run to do by hand.
Can marketplace orders reach my ERP or invoicing system automatically?
Yes. We configure a flow where every order, once it has been divided per vendor, pushes its data into the ERP and the invoicing system with no re-entry. That keeps vendor stock in sync, produces the correct documents for the platform and for each seller, and removes a whole class of errors.
What is an "automated flow" and what can it do for a marketplace?
An automated flow chains several actions off a single event. Example: a buyer orders items from three vendors → the payment splits → each vendor’s stock decreases → the invoices are generated → each vendor receives a shipping label → the buyer gets one confirmation email. All of it in seconds, with nobody pressing a button.
Are the integrations secure? Is buyer and vendor data protected?
Yes. We use secure authentication and signed webhooks (HMAC) so data travels protected between systems. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe and never passes through your servers. The whole flow is built to meet GDPR requirements for both buyer and vendor data.
Do I have to replace my current tools for you to integrate them?
Not necessarily. We connect the couriers, ERP and CRM you already run, as long as they expose an API or webhooks. Where a current tool is closed or too limited we recommend alternatives — often from the 4b2b ecosystem (invoicing, accounting, notifications), which integrate natively with the marketplace.
